THIS ITEM IS IN THE USA AND IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO US RESIDENTS
The Jones purchased this piece at the American Indian Arts Center in New York City in Jan 1967. This is a lovely, and very early, ivory piece. The animals seem quite intent on their communication. I wonder what they are thinking? The walrus has to contort that huge body of his just so he can keep the seal in his sight line!
